We've streamlined our employment process to make it easier for you to become a school bus driver. Just follow these steps and you're on your way to a great job that is both financially and personally rewarding.

First Steps

Step 1: Take a quick questionnaire to see if this might be a good job for you.
Step 2: Apply online at CareerQuest.
Step 3: If you meet the minimum qualifications, you will be contacted to schedule an
orientation and information session.
Step 4: When you attend the orientation session, bring a copy of your resume with you.

Time Savers

  • Bring your references. Employment Reference and Moral Character forms are available online at the end of your online application or at Bus Driver Forms.
  • Bring a copy of your DMV History.
  • Traffic can be a factor in your timely arrival, click here Human Resources at Gatehouse Administrative Center  and leave yourself plenty of time.
  • Get a copy of the Commercial Driver’s Manual at your local DMV or online at www.DMVNOW.com 

Next Steps (If Selected to Continue)

Step 5: Fingerprinting for criminal background investigations.
Step 6: Physical examination.

Final Steps (If Selected)

Step 7: Scheduled to begin 5 weeks of paid training.

Upon successful completion of training program, a final interview will be scheduled for placement.
